About

I am an independent science communicator, with a background in science, technology, and culture.
I believe in a strong role for science in society, in evidence-based discussions, and in a just society.

My passion is to give science a voice.

I am a trained scientist with a passion for communication. I am curious about topics in science and technology, and I act as a facilitator between world-class experts and you. I become a better person in the process, and together we can help science make a deep societal impact.

I am in charge of my production process from recording to audio and video editing. I have experience in radio (Italy and Canada), television (Italy), and the print media (Italy). During my work in academia between 2009 and 2020, I have built a global network which I consider my greatest asset.

What I do

I am an independent science communicator, with a background in technology and digital cultural heritage. My passion is to give science a voice and a chance to make a deep societal impact. I believe in a strong role for science in society, in evidence-based discussions, and in a just society.

Podcasts/Video interviews

I host and produce podcasts and video interviews to experts in the field of technology, science, and society.

Writing

I write blog articles, opinion pieces, commentaries, and I cover scientific events.

Guest on podcasts/magazines

I enjoy being interviewed almost as much as I enjoy interviewing.

Teaching

I love sharing my experience in communication. I teach podcasting, audio editing, and everything in between.

Panelist/moderator/host

The best ideas are developed in conversation. That's why I am always happy to participate in panels and round tables.

Public speaking

I thrive on stage or in the classroom. There is nothing like human-human communication.

Ten years in academia have made me a better science communicator today.

I am a trained scientist with ten+ years worth of international research experience. My academic excellence has been rewarded with prestigious grants like Fulbright and Marie Curie. I hold a PhD in Computer Science and two Master Degrees in Music and Musicology. A first-hand knowledge of science and of the research world makes me a better science communicator today.
